❤️ Vancouver, let’s come together for Echo!
On September 19, Chino’s younger brother, Echo, suffered a stroke while hosting a gig in Quezon City. He’s now out of the hospital and showing signs of improvement, but his road to recovery is still long, with rehabilitation and medical expenses continuing to add up.
Many of you know Echo as the man behind the scenes, supporting the Filipino indie music scene for over two decades through hosting, sound, lights, and co-founding Boldstar. He’s always been there for the music community. Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.
Musicians in Manila have organized a benefit gig for Echo, and here in Vancouver, we’re doing our part, too!
Join us on November 20 at Astoria Pub for a special benefit show featuring our amazing local musicians alongside Chino Singson, Echo’s brother.
All proceeds will go toward Echo’s recovery.
As someone who believes in the power of music and community, I hope we can come together to help Echo through this difficult time. Every contribution, share, and prayer makes a difference.
Let’s show Echo that he’s not alone. The music community he has supported for so many years is now coming together to support him.
